The great commission is a divine invitation to walk on water.
It takes a miracle.
We are compelled by the Holy Spirit to be his witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). With hearts brimming with thanksgiving and joy for what our Savior has already done for us, we prayerfully consider stepping outside our comfort zone to verbally proclaim the gospel.
We ask the Lord to walk on water and carry out the great commission and he provides a one-word answer.
“Go!”
And the great commission comes with a great promise –
“And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age.”
