Praise and Proclaim Ministries teaches Christians the joy of sowing God’s Word
Ambassadors for Christ deliver a message of reconciliation to all people. The message centers on what Christ has already done for us on the cross. It is a proclamation of victory!
The Lord commissions believers in Christ to sow the seeds of the gospel. By embracing this role, Christians find joy and peace by leaving the results to Him.
There is great joy in the heavens when the miracle of faith occurs and a soul receives Christ’s perfection and His righteousness. Faith receive the full benefits of Christ’s victory over death and sin. A new creation in Christ receives the 100% assurance of knowing their names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and the benefits of a Spirit-filled life on earth filled with immeasurable joy and peace.
The power of God’s Word creates the miracle of faith.
Christians can take comfort in knowing that it is the power of the message that saves, not the messenger. It is within this scope that Praise and Proclaim Ministries starts the process of teaching and training Christians to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in their communities. (Find out more!)
God’s Word pictures a soul receiving faith as a harvest. Like a stalk of wheat or a tree bearing fruit, a mature plant ready for harvest must begin with the planting of a seed. Ambassadors for Christ are like seasoned farmers. They confidently sow the seeds of the gospel and fully expect a harvest according to his purpose and timetable.
“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the field! They are ripe for harvest. Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true. I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.” (John 4:34-38)
Praise and Proclaim Ministries provides opportunities for Christians to receive the joy of sowing by organizing and conducting outreach campaigns. (Find out how!)
The joy of sowing comes from trusting God’s promise that Christians are used in the miracle of faith – even when we may never know the results while on earth. We can only imagine the grand celebration that will occur in heaven when saints in Christ rejoice and see how God used them in the process of bringing a lost sheep home to heaven.
While we anticipate the future blessings of heaven, Christians can also receive the present blessings of experiencing God’s presence and strength through proclaiming His Word. By stepping out in faith we can’t help but strengthen our faith by exercising spiritual muscles God has given every Christian to be His messengers.
We can go to the Lord in prayer, “Lord, grant within us the fruit of joy when we step out of our comfort zones and proclaim the message of Christ. Grant us the confidence, O Lord, to sow the victorious message of Your Word in the hearts of unbelief. So often, our eyes are closed to the fields before us. We ask You to open our eyes and see the work that is being done and what we could be doing – all according to your purpose and glory. Allow us, Lord, to have the same zeal that You have to find lost sheep. Allow us to love them as You love them. And in all things we do on your behalf, allow the fruit of joy to grow in our spiritual life – and use that joy to shine the light of Your presence within me.”
In Your name we pray, Amen.
